This Bible was created by Precept Ministries International (Kay Arthur) and was the first NASB study Bible I purchased.

Let me just say that if you're looking for a complete study Bible that has everything done for you, this wouldn't be it.

This Bible is really for those who want to see the Word of God without all the frills. It's designed to let you diagram, outline and discover the sections, themes, points and meanings of each part of God's Word.

The inductive study method is one that will give God's Word new meaning to your life. It's all about letting the Holy Spirit guide you as you dive deep into the Word.

This NASB study bible has wide margins for note taking and contains a lot of instruction on how to mark up the Bible for the inductive study method.

I recommend buying this as a secondary study Bible that you use to really develop your own personal understanding. As Kay recommends, start with an epistle, like 2 Timothy. Just that small book will take a good while with the inductive method, but you'll discover so much. It's amazing at how fruitful your time with God's Word can become.

My only gripe with the New Inductive Study Bible (NASB) is that it's not red lettered (words of Jesus Christ in red). I know why it was done—part of the learning process—but I love having the red letters.

That said, it's worth the purchase. To me, your typical NASB study Bible is like riding your bike comfortably with training wheels. You learn to pedal, turn, navigate, etc. This study Bible is like taking those training wheels off. It's just you and God walking through the Word.

I know that when I started with 2 Timothy, I learned far more and enjoyed it more than just reading the Word with pre-written study notes and direction.
